About

Goal: everyone should be as happy as this little guy when reading my translations

I have been a freelance translator for over twenty years now, and will probably continue to be one as long as I live. Three of my favourite things in life - reading, writing, and learning - are all neatly packed into one delicious parcel that I am allowed to open each and every day. That, dear reader, is a rare treat!

My goal is to offer renditions, to apply my entire knowledge about the Swedish language and society on each and every text that I write. It doesn't matter if I'm working on a snippet about a new product or a brick-sized user manual of 50,000 words or more - it must flow like the wind in Puck's ears (pooch in pic).

Perhaps you think that a product description or a user manual doesn't matter that much - who reads those anyway? But think of it this way: most people read texts on packaging or in user instructions several times each and every day - don't they deserve a text that has been cared for? I think they do.

If you think like me, and need something translated from English, Danish, or Norwegian, why not drop me a line on info (at) piktograf.se.

HEADQUARTERS

I mean ... How much more Swedish can you get? A little red house with white trimmings surrounded by birch trees, oaks, and firs - and of course acre upon acre of Sweden's best farmland.
